Join Manton Community Alliance group on Facebook

Manton Community Alliance now has its own group set up on Facebook, giving local users an additional means of keeping up to date with what’s happening in the area, and having your say about issues that are important to you.

Many of you have asked us to use Facebook to provide an easy way for you to share views and information with your friends online, so we have listened to you and set up a group that will give more people the chance to get involved and say how they would like to see money spent in Manton. This is part of the participatory budgeting process – Voice Your Choice – where you, the residents of Manton, decide what projects you want to be funded locally.

If you are registered as a Facebook user, you can search for the Manton Community Alliance and click to join the group. Once on the group’s page, find the logo for Voice Your Choice, click on this link and it will take you straight to the voting sheet. It only takes a minute to register your vote, and there’s LOTS of cash to be won as part of this promotion.

Every Manton resident who votes will be entered into a free prize draw with a chance to win £100 cash. In addition, get ten of your friends to vote online as well, and YOU get another £5 - yes a fiver just for telling your friends to vote in this year’s Voice Your Choice. There are no right or wrong answers, just your opinion about which projects should be given funding. Each person can only vote once, and as soon as ten people have given your name at the end of the voting sheet, you will automatically be sent a £5 voucher.
