Allotments for Manton

I've heard that things are moving really quickly on the allotments site for Manton. I've heard that funding is available to reopen the site between Edinburgh Road, Rufford Street, and Spur Crescent in the near future.

I would love an allotment, to have a go at growing my own vegetables. Can anyone tell me if this is true, or give me any more information about when I can get an allotment and what I have to do to get one.

Hi Nettiecustard, you are right about progress on the allotments - not sure where you heard it from...

Have a look at the poster on our Facebook page, that gives information about the Spur Crescent allotment site in Manton which is going to be re-opened.

MCA have started to do some consultation with around 46 people in the area who have all said they would like to see the Spur Crescent allotment re opened!

Any questions about the allotments, please do come along and find out yourselves.

We want to make all residents aware of what\'s happening, and encourage anyone to come along to the meeting. You can also fill out the free prize draw (either in the MCA office, or on Facebook) to be in with a chance of winning 20 vouchers.
